Secret Societies at Cornell

So, I was reading this article on the Quill and Dagger and found it quite interesting. How exactly do they “tap” new members?

lmao I love this subject

A “tap” is a simple, quick, and stealthy backhand flick of the wrist into a target’s testicular region.

it sounds like secret society membership hurts. at least they dont use sticks.

I remember reading that they just either tap you on the back twice or say “You have been invited to the so called Skull and Bones, would you like to join” (or something like that) for Skull and Bones (at Yale). But ouch! Quill and Dagger’s selection process hurts.

i wonder what they mean with tap
is it a swift flick of the wrist or is it a very firm swat ?

i want to be part of the coolness lol i was looking around and found that it was the first ivy league society to open membership to women…pretty cool! and the people who have been part of it are in the list of “The 100 Most Notable Cornellians” !!! pretty awesome  hmmm…I wonder how they find people…
