<p>I just downloaded SecureFX to my labtop (Window XP), I can easily control my public and private folders from the Athena. My question is, may I download something from the Internet (let’s say, a pset) and save it directly into my SecureFX’s Athena folder? It’s easy in Ahtena cluster when you can just download the stuff into your private folder. But when working on my labtop, I always need to download the pset to my labtop first then transfer to the SecureFX’s folders. How do you do it directly?</p>
<p>You can do it, although I’m not sure if it’s worth the hassle.</p>
<p>You would need to connect to Athena normally first, then go to the “File” menu and select “Connect” again. In the second Athena window, you can click around and find your class Athena locker (ie click “Course” under “athena.mit.edu”, then the department number, then the course number), then transfer files directly from the class locker to your locker.</p>
