See your House in a Snowglobe

My son just sent this to me and I thought it was kind of cool.

[Happy Holidays from DRAFTFCB](http://www.draftfcb.com/holiday2011/)

Ummm…what is this? It says something about having made a donation to those less fortunate on my behalf!?

It’s from 2011, so I doubt if a donation to Coalition for the Homeless has been made on your behalf.

I tried it but it showed the house across the street from mine.

Ha! I got the street.

I guess google earth isn’t as accurate as one would think.

Very cool! I just wish it would put snow on the roof and lawn and cover up those burned patches of grass. ;)

It has our house and our two cars. My hometown house isn’t on there, but the house across the street it. The house my ex and I owned back there is on it. Wow.

it’s just using the images from google maps/earth.

It’s cute! But if it snowed when there were that many leaves on the trees, I’d be concerned…

Our house showed up in the aerial view, but my folks’ house in Texas was in the street view - cool!

Mine showed up in aerial view but still cool.

Why do some show up in aerial view and some in street view? My current house showed up in aerial, but my old house showed up in street view.

Very cute. Our house was aerial view since there is no Google street view of our block. DS’s apartment had the front of the building with a palm tree in the middle. MIL had the corner near her house. Brother’s house had the cul-de-sac with his house in the distance. My childhood home was the best although like stradmom, the snow fell over the autumn leaves.

LOL - just tried 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and it’s snowing indoors!

Oh wow. That is fun. Thanks! (We have several buildings on our property and they’re all there!)

that’s cute!

Street view, but sure enough, that’s our maple tree and brick ring. The tree obscures the house.

Now for the junk mail to follow.
