Seeking advice & Suggestions

Background:

I am both Dyslexic & ADHD I’m attending a public school in Houston Texas where are grading system is 70% major 20%minor 10%daily. The GPA is A(4.0) B(3.0) etc. I took all accelerated and honors classes (other than English) that are weighted on a 5.0 scale up until my current senior year.

Situation:

Education was never a priority or even encouraged my mother was a first year college dropout and religion nut, and my father attended a minimal electrician trade school in Canada. He worked his way up a large oil company than started his own designing and manufacturing top drives for oil rigs and does very well financially. I never found school difficult (other than writing do to my Dyslexia.) I was able to put little to no effort in and still out preform my peers when it came to testing (both coarse and standardized.) 9-11 grade I would participate very little in my classes and preform very well on my tests to compensate averaging a B maintaining the 4.0 (weighed). My GPA for 9-11 is roughly a 3.1 (I promise i’m not dumb my last official IQ test in 7th grade was 151) . I was kicked out in December Junior year and I had to juggle everything that had to do with being independent. Ultimately It forced me to grow the up.

Senior year

I took my ACT for the first time over the summer and didn’t do any sort of preparation but I got a 30 composite with a 32 on the science portion. I only did poorly on the math section because I didn’t expect such simple math it had been so long sense id done anything of the sort and didn’t recall simple equations and concepts. I plan on taking it twice this year without the essay, i’m confident ill get at least a 32.

This year i’m in 5 AP classes
-Biology
-Psychology
-Government
-Economics
-Computer Science
& dual credit Algebra witch is a AP equivalent
I took the ap tests for Physics A and Human geography without taking the coarse and received a 4 on both

as of the first grading period I have a 3.83

I am also in Scientific Research & Design(robotics) this is my first year and I am lead design and lead engineer after the first two competitions we are pre qualified for state

I am planning on going to college in Canada but not exactly sure of all the schools i’m going to apply to yet open to suggestions. Mcgill would be my top choice but my GPA doesn’t meet the minimum requirements

Any advice/tips/suggestions you can give me is much appreciated my school’s college counselor isn’t much help

Please be blunt

Just to let you know a 7th grade IQ test probably isn’t reliable anymore, but that score would qualify you as a genius.

@jarrett211 Yea I Understand, I had to get my IQ taken in 3rd grade when I was getting my full dyslexia diagnostic. I tested off the charts for a child of my age so they continued to give me an IQ test every year up until 7th grade. Iv taken a few since but they weren’t official
