Seeking Light for School Admission

Hey everyone! I’m a 9th-grade student applying to some boarding high schools in the USA (test-optional only). I am an international student, and my family income is less than $10k a year.

Regarding my Ec’s. I have published 3 papers in international journals (one in a Scimago-featured journal and the others in high-school journals). I’ve done research in astrophysics, philosophy, and physics, around 9 research papers total. I was a peer reviewer for a Q2 with an h-index of 31, and recently a Q1 journal’s Editor-in-Chief invited me to join as a reviewer. It may sound fabricated, but it’s true, and skepticism is completely understandable, feel free to ask if you have any questions about this ec.

I also have some other achievements like research activities, conferences at top universities in my country, some sports achievements, and a good GPA.

I feel like with my family income, being an international student, and having no test scores, my chances might not be great. However, I would really love any advice or ideas on other ways I could study abroad or join similar programs. Anything you suggest would mean a lot!

@skieurope , can this be moved to prep school forum?

Are there any ISEF-affiliated fairs in your country that you can participate in? https://findafair.societyforscience.org/

If your country participates in IPhO or IOAA, you can consider participating in that as well.
