<p>which means our living room TV will continue to be held hostage by the younger roommate. And meaning I will have to continue to be critical of the choices. </p>
<p>Suprisingly, there was not much CC action on the AGT 2013 front, although one act was particularly remarkable. Might come from the public voting for a silly dog act last year. The good news is that a pure copycat act was sent home yesterday. :)</p>

<p>Still cannot believe Josh lost to that girl who did not follow the rules.</p>
<p>What was that about xiggi? I watched the show, but don’t remember what happened with the girl that he lost to. Josh was also one of my favorites.</p>
<p>I think there are some very good people so far on this season, it is going to be interesting.</p>

<p>Well, Melanie was “saved” by Simon after being eliminated. From there on, Simon made sure to push his pupil through the rounds with unending praise and attacks of the other singers. During the competition, several shows where thematic, and judges asked their candidates to step out of their comfort zones. In a couple of cases, that placed Josh at a disadvantage when he looked quite goofy with strange make up and dancers around him.</p>
<p>On the other hand, regardless of the theme, Melanie just stood there as wooden as ever, and was allowed to scream through whatever song pleased Simon, and stay in a style that fit her.</p>
