So this break I’ve decided that I don’t want to be a lazy schmuck like I normally am and do a couple productive things.

I went to the library and picked up a couple books on investing/the markets (finance major but sometimes I feel clueless), a book on stoicism/philosophy, I want to practice my typing, continue working out, etc…

One random cool thing I’d like to dabble with (don’t expect to master or learn completely) is playing the harmonica. Have my grandfather’s in the basement, gonna dig it out.

What about you guys? Anything suggestions or things that you do?

Thanks!

I am going to teach myself ecclesiastical Latin and start going to Latin Mass. I am also going to study for the LSAT. Should be fun.

Oh nice. Just went to a funeral that was in Hungarian recently, very interesting.

They say that the best way to keep your goals is to tell someone about it. That way, you are accountable to more than just yourself and less likely to give into laziness. So keep us posted about how it goes.

My goals are to get a jump start on next semester and go to the gym at least 3 times every week.

I took a Comp. Sci class and it opened up a whole new world to me that I always knew was there, but that I was always afraid of taking part in. Now, I’m throwing caution to the wind and trying to slap a video game/smartphone app together with a handful of the people I’ve met. So, familiarizing myself with some programming languages, game engines, and digital artwork tools will be my winter break.
