Self Reporting Scores

Is it enough to self report my AP scores on the commonapp? Or should I send an official score report to every university I am applying to?

Does the same apply for the SAT I and II? Can I just self report them on the commonapp? or do I need to have an official score report sent to each university?

Finally, how do I report O-level (IGCSE) scores to American Universities?

Most schools are going to also want the official reports for the SAT / SAT IIs / Acts … if in doubt check the web-sites of the schools in which you are interested.

I can’t speak to the O-levels.

I am pretty sure that APs are just self reported until you are accepted. Then you have
to send in official reports to actually get the credit for them. You should send official SAT, ACT, and SAT II’s to each one you are applying to. Don’t know about the other one either.

Have your official SAT and SAT subject test scores sent through college board. Self report your APs and do not send official AP scores. Colleges do not put great weight on AP exam results and do not require official scores for those until after you decide which school to attend. O levels should appear on your transcript.

There are only a few schools that would consider AP scores for admission. Harvard would look at it like additional SAT2. Most school do not even look at that until you are admitted. All required scores need to be submitted directly from the test agencies though. Some schools like Purdue would not even look at the self reported score.
