<p>Phew! Finally done with the relatively few AP exams of this year. However, it’s time to think ahead for the summer and next year.</p>

<p>I’ve decided to self study AP Computer Science. I have no knowledge of any Java (just html and some javascript, lol)</p>

<p>I have placed an order for the AP CSA Barron’s book, but is there anything else I need to do to ensure a 5? I saw elsewhere to study as many chapters as I can from this book –> [Javanotes</a> 6.0 – Title Page](<a href=“http://math.hws.edu/javanotes/]Javanotes”>Javanotes 9, JavaFX Edition -- Title Page) </p>

<p>Are there other books (preferably free, but ok if it is really good and costs money) that I can use to get a 5?</p>

<p>Watch the Stanford cs106a lecture videos on ituesu, YouTube, the stanford website, or somewhere else. It’s basically the Ap curriculum with some stuff added on. Also professor Sahami is great and he makes it interesting.</p>

<p>Honestly, Barron’s is all you need. I’d recommend about 40 hours total of studying and that should be enough for a 5.</p>

<p>If you are interested in CS though and want to do it in the future, I would also recommend doing what StanfordFuture said.</p>
