I am writing four AP exams in may: Bio, Calc BC, Euro Hist, and Macro Econ. I am wondering if anybody knows of any good text books for Bio, Calc, Euro and Macro Econ. I have purchased the Barrons books for all of them but what other materials do I need? (btw… I’m taking a gap year, that is why I have the time to write 4)

A good bio text is Neil Campbell’s Biology

I agree with honied_dreams. I also think highly of the Raven and Johnson text, but it’s not as widely used.

For Econ, Mankiw is incredible. I self-studied Micro with his book, rather than Macro, but my econ professor mother thinks he’s the best out there.

I used James Stewart for multivariable calc, and I think it was pretty good, although a lot of people seem to dislike it. Regardless, if you don’t find anything better, I think you would be fine with it for AP Calc.

Definitely go with Campbell’s for Biology
