Self-study AP geo make up for not taking Calc?

<p>Would self studying AP geography make up for not taking AP Calculus (when other Juniors are taking it)? This is in terms of course, etc.</p>

<p>What do you mean?.. I would think that since Geo is considered a BS AP, it would NOT make up for Calc, in terms of reputation, since thats more important.</p>

<p>Unfortunately, I don’t think it would make up for it. As Tapedduck said, it is a BS AP which means that minimal skill is required to get a good score, whereas with calc, you need to know what you’re doing.</p>
