<p>My APUSH teacher isn’t exactly the best and I did horribly on my first test.
Should I just drop to regular USH but self-study APUSH and take the exam in May (using a really good prep book)?
How would that look to an ivy? (I really don’t want to let my GPA drop but my teacher is really strict yet doesn’t teach us at all).

<p>Yes drop it. The APUSH class is usually too much pointless work you don’t need to do in the first place. I’m sure if you talk to the counselor you can get the APUSH class removed from your transcript.</p>
