Okay, I’ll admit it. I deviated from the college plan. After my third year taking French, and second year in high school, I decided to drop it.
It probably seems ridiculous that I still want to go to a top university, but I’m trying out this new thing of doing what I want. My class was both slow and painful, but I absolutely want to continue studying French now and in the future. I don’t have a lot going for me except for an eagerness to learn. I don’t have a talent for listening and I have tons upon tons of vocabulary that I’ve missed. And I decided to make up for dropping it by taking the French Sat II (without listening). So, you tell me if I’m crazy.
Well actually, even if I am, could you give me rec’s for books and approaches for studying? I already have En Bonne Forme, Amsco’s French II and III, and REA’s SAT II guide. Thanks in advance!
