Self Study or Take Online?

<p>I am currently taking AP Studio Art, AP Euro, and AP Stat for senior year. Because of scheduling conflicts i am not able to take AP Eng Lang or AP Art History. Do you think i should self study those two courses or take them online with FLVS/NCVPS?(or self study one and take the other online?)</p>

<p>The AP Art History course on FLVS has a ton of errors. The teachers never bother to correct the errors in the online “textbook,” nor do they bother to point out the errors. Fortunately, most of the errors are just blatant contradictions from one paragraph to the next … </p>

<p>I wouldn’t take AP Lang on FLVS either. There are 164 assignments worth a grand total of 17,224 points. You are going to be spending a ton of time in front of the computer. If you wish, you can PM SeekingUni for more information on AP Lang.</p>

<p>I don’t know much about NCVPS, sorry. But one good attribute about FLVS is that most assignments can be submitted an unlimited # of times. If you screw up, the teacher will tell you what you did wrong and you can resubmit for full credit. Plus, you can always give FLVS a dry run - you have 28 days to drop a course on FLVS :).</p>

<p>I suggest you try both courses on FLVS and see how you like it. Like IceQube said, there is a grace period of 28 days in which you won’t be penalized if you don’t like the course and want to drop it. If you like one and not the other on FLVS, you can always self study. If you don’t like either, then just self study them. The teachers are usually very nice on FLVS and will definitely help you out with anything you’re having trouble with.</p>
