Hello. I’m fairly confident that I’m going to double major in Chemical Engineering and math, so I was thinking that perhaps taking the Physics B exam would help some, but my school doesn’t offer that class. I just found a site called uccp.org that had a pretty good looking free online class, with labs and everything. Would it be possible to score well (4 or 5) if I adhere closely to the material there without any physical class instruction? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I just went on the page. The course seems like a pretty good outline, but the key to scoring well in Physics is to practice as much as you can, and actually get adequate reading material. Why would you limit yourself to this one course when there are so many resources available to you? Choose any of the textbooks that the online course suggests, and I think you’ll understand the material much better.

I’m taking AP Physics B right now, and I had a year of General Physics that covered much of the same material. If you’ve taken Physics before, then maybe this wouldn’t be too hard, but either way, I would still get a textbook.
