SELF-STUDY Questions...PLEASE ANSWER!!!

Hi, I’m a current sophomore who is interested in receiving the National AP Scholar award - not for apps (well kinda), but really for self-satisfaction that I will be one of the most hardworking individuals in my class of 700. I will play lacrosse for my school this upcoming spring season, but not Varsity, just JV, so it’s not that demanding, and my hardest courses this year are Pre-Calc H and Bio H + Chem H, so I have a lot of free time on my hands. I have taken zero tests so far, but am currently self studying AP Psych.

So my questions are as follows:

1) How often do I have to study for Psych every day/week?

2) How often should I study for Human Geography, because I have the review books (PR and Barron’s - are these good enough), and because from what I have been reading on CC for the past year and a half, Human Geography isn’t that hard of a test.

3) Should I consider self-studying Environmental Science, or is it too hard and difficult to handle considering I will already be studying for 2? BTW i have a decent biology background if that even applies…

How good are your grades and more importantly, how good of a “skawler” do you consider yourself to be? If you have a good memory, then yeah you can do all three. If you don’t, but you have good discipline, you can still do all three. If you have neither, then maybe, it’s still possible but I doubt it. The question isn’t really how often do you have to study, it should be how often do you think you have to study because you know how good your memory is. There are kids you can study the morning of from REA’s Crash Course in Psych and get a 5 and there are other kids who have to break it apart bit by bit throughout the year (this is smarter). So its up to you, but holistically, do what’s most prudent (try to do all three though, I believe in you ;).
