self study World

Hi everyone, I was wondering whether or not when people say to “read the Barron’s,” if that means taking notes on the sections within the book. I certainly hope not (that takes forever!), but if it is the case please enlighten me.

p.s. this is about self-studying World History

It means learning the information contained in the section. If you need to take notes to learn it, then yes. If you can just read through a few times and learn it, then no.

And if you’re self-studying, you should be a good enough student to know what you personally need to do to learn it.

Thanks, I think I’ll skip the paper wasting. It has reviews in the back of the sections anyways.
