Self-studying advice

I have a period during the winter and spring trimesters that will be dedicated to independent studying a subject. Naturally, I will be taking the AP exam in the subject, because it would be extremely myopic not to.

So…both psychology and economics interest me. Thus, my choices are between psychology, microeconomics, and macroeconomics. Is learning the relevant material for one of the economics tests possible in the time period I have (every day from December 1 to May, with four weeks off for the seasonal breaks)? And of the three subjects, is anyone notable easier than the others? Finally, which one would be the best to get out of in college? That is, are intro-level courses in psychology more or less painful or boring than ones in economics? Do keep in mind that I am at least going to minor in economics during college.
