Self-studying AP exam before taking the class?

<p>Okay, so I’m thinking of self-studying for an AP exam, but I can’t take the Gr. 12 course because of pre-requisite requirements (like I have to take the Gr. 11 course before the Gr. 12 course, so I could only take the Gr. 11 next year). I’m thinking of self-studying AP during Gr. 11 because I’m afraid the Gr. 11 class will be too easy and I’ll be bored… </p>

<p>So obviously, I’d still have to take the Gr. 12 course afterwards because colleges require the Gr. 12 course, so I’d be taking that after self-studying for the AP exam. </p>

<p>What do you guys think about that?</p>
