I was just wondering like, how many AP’s do you think it is doable to self-study [for next year :p]?

Like, next year, in regular classes, I’ll be taking AP physics C and a college Calc 3 course, which are both considered to be the hardest courses at my school :|

I really wanna study APES and Music Theory; would this be enough of a load, too much, or not enough?

Self-studying AP Environmental Science is feasible. Besides, it is considered one of the easiest AP exams. Music Theory–Idk, I heard it’s hecka hard if you’re not music-oriented.

Two more APs isn’t that bad. I’m going to take a pretty balanced schedule so it’s not too hard: Calc BC, Bio, Lit, Macro, and Music Theory next year. And I’m also self studying for 2 more. But the two I’m studying for aren’t too hard supposedly: stat and micro. Self study Music Theory? Do you have any prior knowledge of music? And APES is fine.

At my school, three AP’s is the average amount…and four is pretty courageous…five is just crazy…I don;t see how all you people are doing like 5-8… do most of you score 4’s and 5’s on most of them?

Are 4/5 APs in school and 4/5 self-studying in one year doable? (calc bc, physics c, english lit, stats, env. sci., bio, chem, comp. science, psych) If I start preparing in June of this year?

@samd1993: 3-4 AP’s in class, selfstudy, or combined?

@any and everyone else who wants to listen [especially the people who posted here with advice thankss]: Hm, although I am kinda music oriented, after looking over what’s required for MT… meh. I think APES and Psych instead

My school has a decent amount of ppl taking 4-5 APs. I think it depends on what you’re taking; some APs are pretty easy. @strawberries WOW, 9 APs?! hm…if you start in June it is pretty doable i guess. It’ll just be tiring studying 4/5 APs over the summer because this is the time when you should take a break. You’ll have like no life if you just keep on studying. I’m studying only 2 over the summer, and they’re one of the easier APs too.

Haha yeah I was going to say if you’re not music oriented and/or have no music theory knowledge, then it’s not for you. It’s more than just reading notes and counting rhythms.

3-4 AP classes,
idk I am extremely intelligent (haha from my perspective)…Calc is pretty easy for me
but APUSH and AP bio contain so much material…I am reading textbooks for hours and hours a day and its very time consuming…Idk considering 8 AP’s is doable…maybe I will get extremely high 5’s on all 3 of my AP’s haha
