<p>My public school offers a course in Ap calculus AB, and i am taking it right now and already know it is not a course for me. It’s not the subject matter that’s bad, the problem is that the class is far too big and the teacher has too many students to sufficiently help me get the help I need for the class. Would taking the class as an independent study on my own, with a good score of 4 or 5 on the test be sufficient as a replacement for the actual class? I am a junior, taking the SAT II in math II and also planning on taking either Calc BC or AP Stats next year</p>
<p>Taking the class “on your own” won’t help in getting your GC’s check mark for most difficult course rigor. And how would that be any different from being in a class where you have to learn on your own as you are now? </p>
