Selling an essay to a website

Is it considered cheating to sell the essays I wrote for English class to a website for 25$ each? It’s a sparknotes style website. Also, should I have them publish the essays with my name? The pro is that it would prove that I never stole essays from a website, but the con is that more people would know that I sold essays. So is this considered academic dishonesty or something?

No, but the little “opinions” differ per person, so why ask in the first place? I’m sure you have your own opinions…

And LOL @ them actually wanting to buy a student’s essays for $25. Wow…

$$$?
You’re going to have to share that website.

English composition is just that one subject that you cannot get away from even after high school or college. The skills that you learn in English class will be reinforced in every subject that you’ll take in furture classes. You can publish your essays to let others view and learn from your writing skills but I think it’s wrong to sell them. By selling your essays, you’re denying your peers the writing skills that they should develop on their own.

I’ve heard from my teachers that even selling your own essays is considered cheating.
