Hello everyone! I am a current sophomore at Oxford College of Emory and am considering transferring to UGA for various reasons which I will not go in to here. The soonest I could start at UGA would be the summer of 2020, leaving the spring of 2020 open. I am planning on majoring in neuroscience/cognitive science and either going on to graduate school or attending medical school. Considering this, I think that the spring semester could be a great time to build my resume with regard to research and volunteer experiences. Has anyone who has taken a semester off have any suggestions with regard to specific programs or general suggestions as to where I should start my search for research/an internship near my home for spring? Thanks!
