Semi colon or Comma after for example??

<p>If you want to put it all in one sentence, go with “Many musicians, such as…, are from the Midwest.”</p>

<p>when you are using an introductory phrase to connect 2 independent clause, you put the semi-colon first and then the comma; for example, this is how it’s done.</p>

<p>in your example, you put the semi-colon afterward, as in, “, for example;” which is not ever correct. i hope that helped.</p>
