<p>I’m planning on applying to the senate and/or congressional page program. Can I apply to both programs (and if I can is it discouraged)? Can I apply to multiple Congressmen/senators (and is this a bad idea)?</p>
<p>You may apply to both programs, however I highly doubt that multiple representatives will be eligible for any one term at a given time, depending on what state you are in.</p>
<p>i think its fine to apply to more than one. i read some time ago on this site about a girl who got offers from two offices, and then chose to go with one. i think the senators hire independantly and have different schedules as to when to apply. the house of representatives who are eligible for a page pick a candidate whose name then goes into the pool for selection through an office in DC. It’s a longshot to say that you’d get two offers…but if you did, then you just pass on one of them.</p>
