Looking at some schools SAT/ACT score-sending policy, I see that some want every single sitting of every test you’ve taken to “get a better view” of your history. What does this really mean? Say if someone started out in the 1900s but studied up to the 2200s. Will the 1900 discredit the 2200, or will it show determination to get a higher score?

It depends on who is on the Admissions Committee. Some will view it as a student who is goal riented and very dedicated to improving. Others will view it as a 1900 whose parents have been to college, know the ropes, and have enough money to get him a ttr and study materials.

Most schools will just take your highest scores and go with them. They will spend more time on yur essay and teacher recommendations.
