Send in Bio Subject Test Score or fahgetaboutit?

<p>My son is applying to a top LAC and the school does not require subject tests. </p>

<p>His high scored on the ACT science portion was 33. (He had scored two 31s on prior tests.)</p>

<p>He scored a 690 on the Biology SAT subject test.</p>

<p>He plans to major in neuroscience.</p>

<p>Does sending in the Bio Subject Test score add anything to his application?</p>

<p>From what I understand, SAT IIs don’t mean much to schools unless it’s a very good score or a very bad score. Do you know what scores most students from that college got on that SAT II? It’s not a bad score so it could give your son a small boost in chances of being accepted…</p>
