My debate coach of four years has written me a supplemental recommendation, which I’m planning on sending on to the schools on my list that accept such additional materials, including Harvard. My only issue is that I’m not sure if if is best (or even possible, for that matter) to send them in electronically; I know that schools like to receive paperwork online if possible, but I’m not sure if the Common App allows for a means to submit a supplementary coach/teacher, etc. recommendation. Has anyone had experience with this? Is it better just to provide my debate coach with the necessary self-addressed stamped envelopes, and call it good? I just want to make things as easy and efficient as possible for both him and the admissions office…

Our daughter asked the teacher who was doing her extra recommendation, to send it in by postal mail. They signed across the envelope seal, on the stamped, addressed envelope that she provided. It worked fine.
