Sending extras for waitlist?

I’ve been waitlisted at my top-choice college. I want to do anything I can to get in. Does sending an extra essay or letter of recommendation help or is it just annoying to the admissions office?

Also, I’ve recently (January or February) been diagnosed with ADHD, which I believe has affected my high school performance, and it is now being treated, which would bode well for future college performance. Would disclosing this help or hurt?

Would probably help. Its an extenuating factor for sure. You can send them a letter including academic and extracurricular updates, including the info about your ADHD.

Any other opinions? I’m not sure if it would help or hurt. Even if they wouldn’t mind the ADHD, would it seem like I don’t think my qualifications are good enough on their own?

Still concerned, so I’ll bump this.
