Sending in a creative writing sample, urgent question: How long should it be?

<p>I sent in one poem. That probably isn’t enough, to be honest, but it’s what I had that I was proud enough of to risk sending. I would say a total of five pages tops.</p>

<p>wait…so for example, if a school doesn’t ask for any supplements (say Wesleyan) can you send in an essay you wrote, by mail? If so…can I send it in now or would it be too late? (deadline is Jan. 1)</p>

Label all submissions with your full name and wesID (Wesleyan ID Number) — DO NOT SEND YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER — and the application program you plan to apply in (Early Decision I, Early Decision II, Regular, Fall Transfer, Spring Transfer).</p>

<p>Although not required, some students supplement their application with work — such as art, music, or scientific research — that represents a special accomplishment or interest, or reflects an educational goal. Please submit by the application program deadlines [EDI – November 15, ED II and Regular Decision – January 1, Fall Transfer Admission – March 15, Spring Transfer - November 1].</p>
