Sending in Fee Waivers after already paid.

I’m low income. I want to ask for a fee waiver to colleges, but I’m already done applying and paying… I hadn’t requested fee waivers (I have no idea why) before hand. I was looking at college websites, and I just found out that it seems like I can get a refund with a fee waiver.

So, I have some questions.

1) Will they know that I used a fee waiver even if I didn’t check the “fee waiver box on the supplements, etc?” (so that they can affirm that I’m a low-income student?)

2) Will they be mad at me? Will this affect their decision negatively in any way?

3) Since I paid through credit card, and they’d supposedly refund me, would they be able to find out anymore information about me through my family’s bank stuff?

4) Do people often apply for fee waivers AFTER they’re done paying through credit card?..or did I misunderstand and fee waivers are only granted before paying?

Thank you!

Can I get a response, please?

All of my parent’s money is earned through long, long work hours and they could really use all this money I spent on college applications for household necessities instead.

I’m hitting my head for not having applied for fee waivers earlier

Help, please! Thanks.

ragged, sorry, i dont know the answer to your questions, but it is pretty late here so most people are in bed. try bumping it up again tomorrow morning.

Bump!!!
