I recently registered for the January SAT, and there was an option where I could choose names of schools to which my SAT scores would be sent. I didn’t put any colleges on there…should I? I’m only a junior so I thought that that would be taken care of by my college counselor next year. Any thoughts?
You don’t have to. However, it is YOUR responsibility, not your counselor’s responsibility to send SAT scores.
If you think you might make national merit then sent it to them. If you think you will apply to any colleges this page that require full testing history, you may as well send to them too.

@anxiousenior1 Is this something my counselor will guide me through, next year, though?
No, you send the scores through Collegeboard. Once you have received your scores, you have the option to send them out to colleges. It’s quite simple really; you’ll understand once you explore the Collegeboard website a little.
