Should i send my scores (34 on act and 790 on sat physics) to northwestern now in order to put myself on the map? As in they recognize me as a candidate for the school and may possibly become interested. (obviously im a sophomore).

All help is greatly appreciated!

that’s not how you “put yourself on the map” really. If you take the PSAT and score well, then colleges will start sending you brochures, but that’s as far as you’ll get by just sending scores.

If you want to show you’re interested, just go here:

https://ugadm.northwestern.edu/request/

then if you have any questions, email the admissions office, talk to current students, go to those informationals held by admissions reps when they come to your town/HS.

check the box that says you want info from colleges this fall when you take the psat. if you score well a lot of great colleges will send your their ads/propaganda…

It won’t really ‘‘put you on the map.’’ But, if you’re interested in Northwestern, it can save you the trouble of sending the scores later.
