I’m taking dual enrolled general psychology for 4th period(last of the day) and it is such a waste of time cause I have learned nothing but still have above a 100 average in the class. The class only lasts for 9 weeks and then the second 9 weeks I would take dual enrolled human relations, but I just don’t think I can take sitting in that class anymore. I have the option of doing senior free instead for the last 9 weeks and interning at a local business so basically I’d be getting out of school at 12:20 to go to work but I don’t want to do decide anything yet until I know that it would be ok with the admissions people.
Any advice?

If your grades are good, finished your HS requirements and finished your college applications, I think it might be good to do an internship. Is psychology somewhere related to your intended college major? Talk to your guidance counselor to gets some feedback from them. They might be in a better position ton advise you. IMO I see nothing wrong with doing the internship.

I applied to Stern ED2 and my intended major is the Business and Political Economy Program, and if I’m not accepted into the program its International Business and Finance. With this being said I don’t think Psychology would help me at all and I’m hooping to intern at a Bank or somewhere involved in the financial sector, so I’m hoping NYU won’t make too much out of it if I get in. Thank you btw.

Well then, a business internship would be much better for you.

Just a heads-up, I don’t believe International Business is a concentration we offer anymore as of the class of 2015.
