Senior Load

When you’re a graduating senior, can you take as few units as you want or do you still have to take the minimum required units? (For example, L&S requires 13 units usually). Does this still apply at this point?

not during your last semester, but up until then yes you must hit minimum load unless you successfully petition your college for an exception. People with heavy work schedules, those with families, and similar situations are able to petition, but one could probably make a good case for evening out the load across fall and spring of senior year, rather than doing say 15 and 5 units respectively (or 13 and 7) especially if a given class that finishes your major is only given in the last semester so you can’t finish up with a 20 unit fall.

Fir L&S under 13 the term you’re on the Degree List is fine, but tell them so they can fix it in the system. Financial aid, if you have it, is another story. Ask them, so no surprises.
