Is it necessary to take a senior math with an otherwise heavy courseload?
I’m also taking AP Physics which is very math-heavy.

If you’re planning to apply for selective colleges don’t skip math your senior year, unless there are no higher math courses to take at your school. Take the math course in place of one of your electives.

Colleges like to see 4 years of each subject category, including math. If you can, try not to skip it.

Also, AP Physics deals with algebra. It doesn’t require calculus, and the math is more equations and solving problems than tough math problems.

Idk what AP Physics you’re in… my Physics C class so far (2 weeks in) is relatively calculus-heavy. Anyway, I’d agree with everyone else. Don’t skip the math class.
