Senior SAT

I just finished my Junior year in high school and my superscored SAT is at a 1940. I’ve already taken the test 3 times and experienced very little improvement between the 2nd time and the 3rd time. My scores would put me in the whereabouts of the 80th percentile compared to the SAT scores of other students that got into the school I want to attend. But my mom is really pushing me to take an SAT my senior year because she thinks colleges will look at me as lazy if that don’t see that I took a senior SAT. Any opinions as to what I should do?

It really depends on many other variables as to if or if not you should retake the SAT again. For example, what colleges do you plan to apply to? How do your extracurricular actives stack up? What is your GPA?

More information such as that would help determine if you should or should not. I don’t think colleges will view you as ‘lazy’ if you don’t take it again your senior year.

Have you tried ACT? It seems it may be a better bet for you.
