Senior Schedule

I got a 35 on my ACT, with 36s in English, Reading, and Math, but a 30 in Science. I don’t plan on retaking the ACT, so I wanted to show some stronger Science/Math classes in my senior schedule to help balance me out (I’m a total English/social studies junkie). Does this look like a solid schedule?

AP Physics C
AP Calculus BC
AP English Literature
AP World History
AP Enviro Science
AP Statistics
Debate IV Honors

I’m already taking AP Chemistry and AP Physics B, but bad teachers and not a ton of natural math skills are probably going to result in some mediocre exam scores.

This looks like a great schedule. Yale will understand if you’re more of a H&SS person, so they will be impressed that your taking 3 M&S courses

AP Physics C AND AP Enviro…I am not at all a science person so taking both those classes sounds somewhat painful to me. But good luck to ya!
I don’t think you really need to show that you are “balanced” by taking extra science classes to atone for the ACT. To me, Yale would prefer to see passion, focus in a certain area, so I think one AP science would be fine. Also, if you want to enjoy your senior year I would definitely recommend doing the classes you would enjoy doing.
However, taking classes that are out of you area of expertise would also show flexibility. It’s up to you.
