<p>The deflation issue is blown out of proportion. Statistically the difference is small compared to schools that inflate grades. It happens in some but not many classes. Usually the very large ones. Plus BU is attempting to set a policy denouncing it, per student union minutes, etc. Just choose classes wisely if you are worried about it.
