Shows are under way at Webster…right now “Tartuffe” is in rehearsal. The one act “Tied to a Stick” directed by movement teacher [Jef Awada](http://www.webster.edu/depts/finearts/theatre/Assets/conservepages/facultybios/awada.html) was amazing and I heard that “Anton in Show Business” with a fabulous all female cast was great.

It’s been awhile since I have updated what the seniors have been doing and plans have changed regarding senior headshots that I am eager to share.

Hopefully by now you have all read that Webster has a new head of their MT Department, [Lara Teeter](http://www.webster.edu/depts/finearts/theatre/Assets/conservepages/facultybios/teeter.html). With Lara’s experience in the professional field he of course has wonderful connections. He suggested a headshot photographer he is familiar with, [Beth Kelly](http://www.bethkellyphotography.com). Beth has taken headshots for notable performers such as: Patrick Wilson, Linda Eder, Dan Rather, and Brian Stokes Mitchell just to name a few. I am told her prices were very reasonable. What I like most is that she flies in the day before and has dinner with the seniors in order to get to know their personalities. Doesn’t this just make so much sense?

Lara has all the seniors working hard so they will be of best caliber when showcases in NYC and LA come around next year. The seniors are also directing ETs (every Tuesday) one acts, fine tuning dialects, and clowning classes. One of their interesting classes is also conducted by the [The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis](http://www.repstl.org) Artistic Director, Steven Woolf.

Oh, and I mustn’t neglect to tell you that seniors also had their group shots taken. They visited several different areas around St. Louis for various backdrops…including one of my favorites, [The Muny](http://www.muny.com).

Now, this is my first attempt at using vB Codes…as I am clicking the “Post Quick Reply” button my fingers are crossed that this posting turns out the way it was meant, because I really don’t want to have to do this all again.

:) Best to all,
