senior year classes

Hi, im interested in applying to Yale, so i was wondering any people that got in or know people that got in, what classes did you took senior year in each subject? thanks

It doesn’t matter what classes other accepted students took. What matters is that YOU take the MOST rigorous class schedule available to you at your high school and do well in those classes. As your guidance counselor must rate the rigor of your class schedule in the Secondary School Report (SSR) as compared to all other college bound seniors at your school, why don’t you ask your GC. See page 2 of SSR: http://www.ugadm.northwestern.edu/documents/UG_Admissions_SecondarySchoolReport.pdf

FWIW: My son, who is a rising senior at Yale, took 8 academic classes his senior year of high school, 4 of which were AP classes, which is about average at his school for college bound seniors. (Some type-A student’s at his high school took 6 AP’s senior year and were rejected from Yale – so don’t go crazy just for the sake of “looking good.”)
