Senior Year Classes

I’m going to be a senior next year, about 70 percent of my classes have something to business (Econ, math, accounting etc) which I 100% want to pursue in my career. Should I stick with this curriculum or change to more diverse classes given that I want to pursue business?

Which colleges are you aiming for? What’s the highest level of language, science, history that you’ve taken? Have you taken AP courses? Which? Based on the answers it’s quite possible that your proposed curiculum is overly specialized.

You should have English, History/Social science (Econ, Gov…), and Science every year, plus Math up to Precalculus or Calculus and Foreign Language up to level 3 or 4. Then you can add Business courses as electives but they do not replace core courses.
Is that what your 4-year schedule looks like?

@MYOS1634 yes, I have 4 years of every core class, but the rest are all business related

If you have 4 years of every core class, then you’re okay taking all your electives as business. The only exception may if if you intend to apply to CA universities, which require one year of art (music, band, choir, art history, etc.)

@MYOS1634 by CA you mean California right, or college of arts

MYOS1634 means any of the University of California campuses- UCB, UCLA, etc…

Yes, I mean California publics (UCs and CSUs). It’s intractable for UCs and has tripped many an OOS applicant.
