I am going to be a senior next year and this is what i have so far:
Latin Lit H
AP French
AP ECON
AP GOV
Physics H
Studies in modern literature (half year)
public speaking (half year)
AP CALC BC
My main concerns are Physics H and Mod lit/public speaking. I am not really interested in science (potential majors are economics or govt), but im leaning towards taking AP chem instead of phys H, is phys H rigorous enough. With mod lit/public speaking, i have taken regular level english since frosh year, do you think it would be necessary to step it up my senior year in order to make a push at top schools??
please help

You gotta do cost/benefit analysis. Unless your school has a particularly hard honors Physics, I think most schools will consider AP Chem the more rigorous option. They want you to take the most rigorous classes possible. But if you think your grade will be substantially worse in AP Chem, it may not be worth it. Only you know that, though ask your current teachers what they think you’re capable of.
