Senior Year Coursework

I will be a senior this fall and am hoping to apply to Stanford, Columbia, Yale and Northwestern. I have a 4.4 weighted gpa and a 36 composite on the ACT. At this point I have taken 4 AP classes (World Hist, Lit, Psych, and US Hist) and received 5’s on all of the exams.

My senior year schedule is:

Fall: AP Calc, AP Lang, AP Govt/Pol, AP Biology, Newspaper (I’ll be editor-in-chief), Desktop Publishing, and Cultural Foods.

Spring: AP Calc, AP Lang, AP Govt/Pol, AP Biology, Newspaper, AP Macroecon, and Banned Books.

There is no way for me to take AP Econ or any other English or social studies class in the fall. I’m worried my fall schedule won’t look rigorous enough for the schools I’m applying to. I could drop Foods and take AP Chem, but science is not my passion. I’m much more interested in writing and journalism. Should I be worried that my schedule appears too light in the fall?

Fish, Are you for real ?!

omg i can’t believe youre asking this.
I’m extremely sure that your schedule will be overlooked by your FREAKING PERFECT ACT SCORE. Besides, if you havn’t wowed them with your sched by junior year, they probably make sure you are in senior year. I have a feeling they wont even look that deep into your senior year classes. You should be fine, fish.
