So before i start with what went wrong i would like to give u some background about myself. I did fairly well during high school and got a good score in act. My parents couldn’t afford paying for a university in a bigger city and living expenses so i got enrolled in a small university in new jersey(i would like to not declare some of the information like college name and stuff like that for the sake of privacy). i was always interested in computer science so i knew thats what i wanted to do in college. Anyway few months before i was suppose to start the college my parents went through some really hard times financially and socially. Seeing them sad and depressed really affected me. I lost my passion overtime and developed an addiction for games. i was fairly social in high school but now i college all i wanted to do was play games and stay in my rooms. i started procrastinating and since the first semester my grades were poor. Overtime this kind of became an habit like not doing homework or going to class and stuff like that. Anyway i somehow managed to get to senior year,i will be graduating in fall 2016 but i have a very low gpa and bad grades. My current gpa is 2.3 and now things have got better, i m very certain i can get my gpa upto 2.5 by the time i graduate. i am fully commited to changing my life and start working hard now. I really want to go to a graduate school and pursue my studies further. i know it’s almost impossible to get into a good graduate school with the gpa i have. My current plan is to take graduate classes at njit or rutgers as an undeclared major and show them that i can do well in graduate studies. I am really confused as to what to do, please i need some advice, and i don’t want to extend my college any further so please don’t say that i should retake classes with bad grades. Thank you and i appreciate any help.
Some more info - got about 8 f’(Some of them in my major subjects) but i retook those classes and got better grade ib those classes, please don’t doubt my interest for the field of computer science. i really want to pursue my future in this field so yea
