I am a junior in high school and maintain a 4.0 (unweighted) GPA. I plan on applying to: Texas Christian University, Butler University, Indiana University, University of South Carolina Columbia, University of Alabama, Southern Methodist University, University of Cincinnati, and University of Utah. My dream school is TCU! I am planning out my senior year schedule right now. I would be majoring in dance and possibly pursuing a double major in political science, public relations, or school counseling. I go to a ballet school living away from home, where I dance 30 hours a week, therefore, I don’t have time for a bucket load of difficult classes. My school is a distance learning program, so sometimes hard classes are even harder because I don’t have a teacher to explain them to me face to face.

Is this senior year rigorous enough? Is it okay that I am not taking a third lab science? Science is a weakness of mine and it is hard for me to learn when I am not in a classroom setting. I am not pursuing a degree with science heavy courses, so my guidance counselor thought it would be fine. Would I be able to get into TCU and University of South Carolina (dream schools) with this course load? Thanks!!! Please let me know your thoughts.
