As do most universities, seniors at Penn State give a class gift, chosen from a short list (that is based on idea submissions to a student/faculty committee).
Since we’ve talked about student mental health so much lately, I thought this was an awesome gift: the 2016 seniors have endowed the mental health clinic, so it will not be subject to the vagaries of state funding:
(yes, I know – Penn State should be fully funding it instead of something else. Subject of much conversation here)
