Senoritis Anyone?

Anyone else having difficulty getting motivated enough to go to school?

One of my teachers said something funny about “senoritis” the other day. He seems to think that the bigger problem is kids still being stressed out about grades til the day before graduation. He told us that this is the one time in our lives when grades and work and whatnot really do not matter and that we should do more fun things that we want to do with our time. I have to say he’s inspired me haha.

So what are you all doing with this mostly stress free time?

Haha applying for scholarships has kept me stressed :frowning: but I’ve definitely slacked off in my classes

Well because I made the insane time commitment of pursuing an IB Diploma, I have less free time than I would like. Still, I do find it INCREDIBLY hard to motivate myself to work as hard as I have been working.

Hah! Study 'till your eyes bleed children!

Remember if you fail, no pie for you!

I was talking with my psych teacher about stress after getting into college, and he thought that we should all lighten up and slow from 80 miles an hour to 50. However, how can we slow down? Just not do the work assigned? He didn’t have anything to say to that. xD I’ve resigned myself to working until AP exams and then not having QUITE as much work for the month of school after…until I graduate in Cameron in June. big grin

Yup, bigtime senioritis…I decided this morning not to go to school, so I didn’t!

Not sure how we’ll get through three more months…(or four, depending on where you live!

I just can’t make myself go to math class every day. I’ve taken to sleeping in at least once a week. Praise my mother for excusing the missed periods.
