Sent ACT scores on January 10th. Will colleges see my scores when considering application?

Applied to a few UCs, both Cal Poly’s, USC, Harvey Mudd, and some others but I wasn’t sure when they begin to look at applications so I’m worried that they won’t even see my ACT score. Does anyone have any information?

Generally (as in for the large majority of schools), you will be fine. They may start to look at your application, but they will re-look at it in the future, and the new scores will be seen then. If you mean that these were the first scores you sent, then you should still be fine, generally colleges send an email out in beginning-mid February notifying students of missing documents and giving time to resend them.

There are some schools who want everything by the deadline, and won’t accept it after. I do not know whether those schools fall under that category, but the chances are, they don’t. And if they do, there’s really nothing you can do about it at this point.
