Sent in Common App, did not include SAT scores. Deadman?

Today I submitted the Common App to all of my colleges, all at once, including Bard, which doesn’t care much for SATs… I therefore didn’t note my scores on the application; I only sent them via the collegeboard. Will the admissions committees find this irksome or am I gonna be okay?

One of the very few business sayings that is really true is that every problem represents an opportunity.

A less scrupulous person than you might email every college how panicked they are as this is their FIRST pick and that they forgot to put the SAT scores…

…ohhhhh shhhheeeeeeeet…

opens outlook express

Wouldn’t that be a more scrupulous person, by the way?

And can someone else second beprepn? Is it absolutely necessary?

If I was in your shoes, I would probably send a fax immediately with the scores and a note of explanation (how you explain it is up to you). Ask if there’s anything else you need to do. My experience has been that schools generally prefer fax over e-mail. In son’s case, we actually faxed them a missing score report as well as having it send in officially.

no, it would be a less scrupulous person. Scruples = morals. Unscrupulous = immoral.

Scrupulous people are painstaking and attentive.

I don’t know if you just pulled that off of dictionary.com or something but if you look you will see that scrupulous also means “Someone who has scruples”. The original poster is saying a less scrupulous (read less moral) person would lie to the colleges (because they can’t all be the first choice).

I’ll probably just send a completely emotionless message to each college noting my scores. I didn’t know colleges paid so little attention to official score reports from collegeboard.com… Not including my scores was a big screwup on my part that will probably be my funeral. Oh well, I hated living anyway. Thanks for the advice all the same.

And my apologies, lizzardfire, you’re right about the other definition of scrupulousness. I’m not unscrupulous, so I’m just sending out completely impassive e-mails… I can flatter the colleges in my essays, heheh.

Don’t make the same mistake I did, all you absent minded people! This has quite possibly been the worst night of my life!
